Canoeing--with paddles

We went back to Mac Bayou, and this time I brought the paddles. Canoeing was very relaxing. The water was calm and we were the only people there. Three of us went, so two paddled from the seats while the third sat on a life jacket in the middle. Taylor got the first two shots while she wasn't paddling. The splash in the second photo is a fish jumping out of the water. We saw dozens jump as we paddled around, and some of them could leap really high! One was so close that it made us wonder if we would end up with a fish in our boat before we left, but luckily we didn't.
