These birds were just hanging out in a tree outside my window this morning. It was very windy--maybe they were just trying to keep out of it. They look to me like they could be some type of dove, but I don't know birds at all.
The pictures didn't really come out so great. I think the birds were further away than my camera can capture nicely.. or maybe they were just further away than I personally know how to capture nicely with my camera. But I was happy with them for posing so prettily for such a long time, so I'll post a couple photos.
There's a third bird in the second photo, just behind the center bird. Maybe that's obvious when you're looking at the picture, but it wasn't when I took it. Now that I see it, though, I also see its tail feathers poking out in the first photo.
The squirrels came out much better, I think.
