The Doggie ER

Our mastiff had an unfortunate accident in the backyard--by which I mean that one of our younger, nimbler dogs pulled her down while trying to play. She got a big gash in her ear (this is her good ear--the other one had a significant chunk taken out of it several years ago by a dalmatian neighbor), and she also somehow got a cut on her tail. Both wounds were bleeding significantly when she came back up on the porch.

My sister and I patched her up the best we could..




I hope you don't think us cruel.. we DID duct tape the gauze to her ear, but that's because no other method we tried could get it to stay!





Oh, the poor old thing.
