This bird's bright yellow belly caught my eye as I was leaving the parking lot after work today. I had no idea what he was, but my Google research skills suggest that perhaps he is a Kingbird of some kind. Even with the help of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, I'm not sure what kind, although if I had to guess I'd say a Western Kingbird.
In the process of searching for the bird online, I found this pretty cool website full of pretty pictures of birds of the Rio Grande Valley.
