I can't believe how long he sat completely still for me while I took photos just a foot from his face!
I saw him as I left my apartment for the gym (yes, I am back on my way to a regular schedule! It feels great!), and I IMMEDIATELY ran back inside for my camera. The neighbors seriously must think I'm insane. Just this morning I was out stalking a bunny down on the grass. He was much less brave, though, than this little lizard, so I didn't get a good shot.
The lighting was VERY poor, but I couldn't resist posting this even though it's not as clear as I would like. He's just so adorable, how could I resist?!

He is completely adorable! And you did a great job of capturing his essence too.
Such a sweet little guy. :)
How cute! He looks like the gekkos in Australia. In Indonesia we called them "tjitjaks" Thanks for your visit and kind words!
I love the way he seems to literally blend in to his environment. Great shot!
Well spotted. And the sweetest face. He wanted you to get a good photo to capture his essence as Jay puts it so well.
All that running to get your camera is a good warming up for the gym ;-)
Jay, isn't he? I thought you would like him :)
Wil, 'tjitjaks,' what a great name! I like it better than 'lizard' or 'gecko' :D
Mara, thanks! He really did blend in well, but he must stand out terribly against all the greenery we have. I wonder if he can change color..
Carolina, hehehe, I didn't think of it that way, a warm up for the gym!
