This weekend I drove out to Nashville to visit my friend, A, who gave me this beautiful South African plant! It was a long drive, but I enjoy road trips, I wanted to get out of Dallas for a bit, and I wanted to see A before she leaves to do research in France for the summer. (!!!)

Carolina, is that the Dutch name for this plant?! I tried to google 'Zuidenwind Lelie,' but none of the results were in English :P I suppose being a native South African plant, it should have a common Dutch name, shouldn't it?
